C'est la Vie 377A

I had been working on a rebuttal for NMP Professor Thio Li-Ann’s speech in Parliament trying to find problems in her theories and logic, but then after hearing how if you post something on the net, even if it is your own personal opinion, towards her, then you have to make a public apology to her or else risk being sued. Oh well, guess I shall have to let this one pass and just smile and nod while thinking to myself, privately, 'sort of backward, aint she?'

Though, can I just say that I find it interesting that she points out that when homosexual sex was going on back in the ancient days of Greece and China, it was animalistic and barbaric where women were just people to bear children and do housework. Obviously it was the sexual contact between men and men that caused such barbarism. I mean, obviously the higher superior sexual preference of male to female wouldn't do such barbarism. Granted, Hitler was a heterosexual with a wife and he did great things. You know, that little thing he did called the 'Holocaust'. Good thing he wasnt homosexual cause if a heterosexual thought up the Holocaust, imagine what a barbaric society like the Greeks could have thought up. Oh, yeah, the Greeks had philosophy, art, drama, medicine and great leaps in the areas of human intelligence that were used in countless places in history (even giving us the great Hippocratic Oath that the MM used to defend treating the Generals from Mynamar in Singapore medical conditions). Obviously those great thinkers came before homosexuality took root, right?

Anyways, guess it is just a case to agree and disagree. She disagrees with homosexuality and the majority of Singapore agrees that homosexuality is a bad thing and should be stopped. After all, if she is an elected MP then she obviously has the same opinions as the majority of Singapore. So, in the end, guess all I, and other pro-sexual preference people, can say is "c'est la vie".
