Love life stupid people! glad to see that the stupid people in the papers today are getting recognized. Wonder if we can make it a worl wide thing now? Not only have the regional stupidity awards but actually go world wide. I put my vote in for the Pope making his comments about the Muslim religion. That has got to make the top 10 in the world of stupidity in my books*G*

Hi. Some S'porean's vote for PAP willingly, while others do so grudingly; think about how weak the opposition condidates are (partly for the decades of demonisation by the PAP) and you agree that the PAP doesn't seem that bad afterall. Having said that, despite of PAP's heavy hand on opposition politics, the election a few months ago gave PAP only two-thirds of the pie. I think the one-third who voted against the PAP is very significant, given that the opposition parties really nothing much to offer politically in the first place.
With each passing election, PAP will surely lose more of its grip. My fear is that PAP will lose its grip FASTER than the rise of a credible opposition that can actually form a credible govt. When that day come when the PAP loses, I can only hope that the new alternative is capable, or else S'pore would ironically be thrown to the dogs, with thanks to the PAP...
